Jacqueline Helin will be playing with the Ballet Pro Musica at the Albuquerque Hispanic Cultural Center on August 13, 14, and 15.
Performances will feature principal dancers from the National Ballet of Mexico and members of La Catrina string quartet. Jacqueline will be playing the Haydn Gypsy Trio and Piazzolla’s Four Seasons with string players from La Catrina. The Haydn is an espcially elegant piano trio with a fiery Hungarian Gypsy-inspired finale and the Piazzolla Seasons are sultry and sophisticated tangos, perfect for a collaboration with dancers. In addition, the Quartet will play a Ginastera String Quartet.
Performances are Friday and Saturday, August 13 and 14 at 8 PM and Sunday, August 15 at 2 PM, at the Hispanic Cultural Center with tickets ranging from $30 to $75. Tickets and further information are available at Ballet Pro Musica or through Ticketmaster.
